Our Approach

Many businesses fall short of their potential because their leaders haven't quite synchronized their understanding of where the organization really is, where it can go, or what's required to get there. Sometimes leaders say similar things, but base their actions on very different assumptions about what's important and why — they operate from different mental models that define how they think and behave around the business and its priorities. Often, these models are rooted in narrow functional, geographical or historical perspectives that may not adequately support the organization's larger potential.

When underlying views of the business are not aligned, organizations find themselves under-leveraged, inefficient, confused and even conflicted. There's talk of innovation, leadership, accountability and collaboration — but actions fall short of what's needed.

When we talk about working with our clients to create alignment, we mean getting people on the same page - making sure that they:

  • Agree on a set of fundamental facts about the business environment, the opportunities and the challenges
  • Understand the strategy and their role in executing on it
  • Share a personal and meaningful connection to the business and each other

Clarifying and articulating a shared vision for the organization's ongoing success is a first step. Crafting strategies that are consistently informed by this vision infuses the organization with clear direction and purpose. Collectively exploring and understanding the implication of strategic choices ensures that options are thoughtfully considered and that required actions and trade-offs are understood and supported.

Once leaders have established a direction and a roadmap, Trium helps keep them aligned and connected even as dynamics and assumptions change.

Trium's innovative work with organizational leadership gets leaders in the right conversations and keeps their energy focused on the right issues.
