Equip

Our Approach

Alignment behind the clearest vision and smartest strategy is moot without the organizational capabilities, processes, and structures that equip an enterprise to execute effectively. But that's not all -- equipping for transformational change also demands equipping people with the degrees of clarity and relationship, mindsets, and commitment required to support the change.

We've all seen what can happen when one or more parts are neglected: a strategy or transformational initiative is undermined because people simply don't know how to think or act differently, or outdated governance models slow even the most high-performing teams' efforts, or deep-seated cultural norms continue to reward behaviors that are no longer consistent with where the organizations aims to go.

Trium works with clients to explore and address the degree to which an organization is equipped to move forward, driving honest dialogs around critical organizational capabilities and leadership effectiveness questions including:

  • Have we created sufficient clarity such that people know and understand what's changing, why, and what will be different as a result?
  • Do key leaders have the levels of relationship required to work effectively together to drive meaningful transformation?
  • Are our people operating with mindsets that drive behaviors in support of the change we are trying to create?
  • Given what this initiative really implies, what must be true in order for each of us and all of our people to feel truly committed to making it happen?
  • Does our organizational culture fully support the change, or could it behoove us to explore how our culture might evolve to be a bigger progress enabler?

The outcome of this work is deep clarity, trust-based working relationships, change-supporting mindsets, and leadership commitment to the path forward. This work often involves the co-creation of a transformation "story" and Strategic Roadmap™ plan that crystallizes the path forward including the key equipping actions and initiatives and progress measures along the way. This work can also include the creation of a Business Operating System™ model that integrates myriad strategy enablers so they can be viewed with holistic perspective, and/or a Leadership Operating System™ model that captures how leaders will govern and drive decisions moving forward. Of note, Trium does not "water down" strategy given where clients are today; rather, we help equip them to produce rapid, measurable, and sustainable results. We help equip them to produce rapid, measurable, and sustainable results.
