Jill Baker
Jill is passionate about helping individuals, teams, and organizations understand and actualize what's possible.
She is particularly skilled in using emotional intelligence and empathy to draw insights from people and teams, and then utilizing these insights to spark critical conversations that enable people to overcome organizational and leadership challenges in service of lasting business results.
Jill worked at Trium early in her professional career and then came back to the firm in 2011. Before her return, she worked as a consultant for Landor Associates, a global branding and design firm. Her specialty at Landor was internal brand engagement, with a focus on educating and engaging employees on brand strategy and positioning, and inspiring and equipping them to deliver on the organization's unique brand promise. Earlier, Jill helped found Atalanta Partners, a boutique consulting firm, where she delivered strategy clarification and execution work in the high-tech and retail sectors.
Jill earned an MA in Counseling & Personnel Services from the University of Maryland, College Park and a BA in German and International Business from the University of Iowa. Inspired by her year-long experience studying in Freiburg, Germany, and her six-month work abroad experience in London, Jill conducted and published research while in graduate school assessing the effects of study abroad program length on the achievement of various learning outcomes. An avid sports fan, Jill can often be found rooting for her Iowa Hawkeyes and San Francisco Giants, or hiking, kickboxing, or practicing yoga.
