Daniel Levitt

Our Team

Daniel works with leaders to help them define their essential contribution and unique leadership voice and to build from that foundation by identifying and uprooting the entrenched mindsets that can compromise effectiveness.

His work leverages his experience in strategy development and execution together with an expertise in building high-performing teams.

Daniel has led engagements with clients such as McKesson, Genentech, Cisco, Gap and Banana Republic.

Prior to joining Trium, Daniel was an Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company's Business Technology Office, where he helped Fortune 500 companies leverage technology to achieve real business results. Before McKinsey, Daniel directed sales and marketing for the U.S. launch of a patented biomedical instrument for a high-tech startup. Before starting his business career, he was a National Science Foundation Fellow at Scripps Institution of Oceanography (UCSD) where he earned a Ph.D. in Geophysics focusing on South Pacific volcanism and plate tectonics. He gained his first insights regarding the power of effective teaming when he co-led a ten-member, two-month scientific oceanic expedition to French Polynesia.

Daniel is an expert in the use of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and other leading assessments for individual professional growth. At Trium, he has developed an integrated approach to building high-performing teams that includes shared insights from the MBTI on interaction styles, feedback and exploration of team issues. He is President of the Bay Area Association of Psychological Type. Additionally, he holds a BS from the University of Miami and an MBA from Stanford University. Outside the office, you can find him attending to the leadership development of his toddler son, Leo, and high-performance teaming with his wife, Amanda.
