Sarah McGill
Our Team
As one of Trium's Principals and the New York Office Leader, Sarah has more than 10 years experience working with senior clients in a wide variety of organizations and industries including financial services, life sciences and retail. Having worked in Australia, Asia, Europe and the U.S. with diverse clients, she brings a unique breadth of experience and a palpable creativity to her work.
Sarah is passionate about working with leaders and their teams at the intersection of strategy, leadership and culture; driving real change and sustained improvement in performance through unlocking potential in the people and the systems of an organization. Much of Sarah’s work involves working, shaping and enabling significant change to happen in very challenging circumstances such as post-merger during industry downturns or when there has been a change of leadership.
Sarah has worked on several large client engagements in the past year. She lead a leadership development and strategy execution engagement at a life sciences company. With a team of three, she worked with the CEO and senior executive team to create alignment and effectiveness, to enable them to drive an ambitious growth program for the company. A critical component of that engagement was coaching of the CEO and other critical team members. In addition, she worked with a Fortune 50 financial services firm on a cross-functional strategy re-alignment program that involved reshaping the strategy with alignment from all areas of the business, building new capabilities in the organization to be able to deliver the strategy, and extensive development and cultural work with the senior team.
Prior to joining Trium, Sarah was part of McKinsey's Organization practice, based in Chicago and working globally. During that time she was a critical part of developing McKinsey’s approach to driving large scale transformation. She also worked with joint consultant-client teams on projects including post-merger integration, operational transformation, and leadership realignment. Earlier, she was the principal at a boutique consultancy based in Sydney that focused on leadership effectiveness and strategic change management in challenging situations.
Sarah holds a Bachelor's of Science, with honors, and a Master's in Marketing from the University of New South Wales, NLP practitioner and DiSC certifications. She also holds an MBA with distinction from the Rice University, Jones Graduate School of Management. Having lived and worked around the world, Sarah now calls Brooklyn Heights, New York, her home. She lives there with her husband, Itay, her seven-year-old son, Noah, and their eleven-month-old daughter, Tali.
