Carl helps leaders execute winning strategies by surfacing and mobilizing inherent organizational talent. This approach, about which he is quite passionate, helps clients leverage leadership and teamwork to achieve breakthrough results.
His areas of expertise include leadership and executive team development as well as strategy formulation and implementation.
In addition to supporting clients in financial service and pharmaceutical industries, Carl led the Trium team that supported the HR organization of the World Bank in strategy development, execution and leadership alignment.
Carl began his career as an officer in the United States Navy, where he spent ten years flying F-14 Tomcats during aircraft carrier deployments to Bosnia and Iraq and then Tornado fighters as an exchange officer to the German Navy. After leaving the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander and earning his MBA, Carl joined the London office of Bain & Company. Prior to joining Trium, he spent over a year with Bain in South Africa, advising a global mining company on their strategy and leadership in an environment of profound cultural transformation.
Carl holds a BS in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Harvard Business School. When not in the gym, studying ancient history or watching Comedy Central, he can be found in cafes or museums of Manhattan, constantly surrounding himself with people who challenge his world view, inspire him and make him laugh.
