Leveraging her background in financial services, Ana Maria brings strong analytical and problem solving skills to her work, focusing on strategy development, change management implementation and high performance teaming.
She currently applies this focus to her work with AXA UK & Ireland.
Ana-Maria developed her change management skills as Vice President of Retirement Plan Investments at American Express, where she led the redesign, rebranding and subsequent launch of the company's retirement benefits program. She also worked in the Global Investments Group of American Express Bank as Director of Investments, streamlining the bank's performance measurement process and sourced/managed sub-advisory relationships. She joined American Express from Bear Stearns' Private Bank, where she consulted retail and institutional clients on wealth and asset management strategies. Earlier she evaluated private equity partnerships Hamilton Lane Advisors, where she evaluated private equity partnerships for the firm's pension and endowment client.
Ana-Maria holds an MBA in Change Management from the Wharton School of Business, an MA in French Literature from Bryn Mawr College, and a BA in Comparative Literature from Haverford College. In her spare time, she's also a spinning instructor, personal trainer, accent-reduction coach and beauty consultant.
