Stewart Emery
Stewart is a proven entrepreneur, coach, leader, best-selling author, and one of the fathers of the Human Potential Movement.
Now best known for co-authoring the widely acclaimed Success Built to Last: Creating a Life that Matters, Do you Matter?: How Great Design Will Make People Love Your Company, and The Owner's Manual For Your Life, he also served as the first CEO of est, the San Francisco-based organization that pioneered the concepts of personal transformation and taking responsibilities for one's life. Within the context of his work, Stewart has led workshops and seminars in dozens of countries, and conducting coaching interviews with more than 10,000 people over the past three decades.
In addition to his work with Trium, Stewart and his wife Joan run Belvedere Consultants, which they established in 1988 to help senior executives of leading organizations to maximize talent, lead more effectively, and design new customer experiences. Stewart also teaches the occasional university class and serves on several advisory boards.
Stewart holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Sydney, where he studied a combination of economics, philosophy, and psychology. He and Joan live just off the water in glorious Belvedere, CA.
