Anke has more than 10 years of experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development and Strategy Consulting. She is the founder of the HR Strategy Consulting company The Human Link, based in Berkeley, California.
She adopts a down-to-earth/bottom-line approach to structured problem solving with teams. She credits her analytical expertise and career success to her unique blend of industry and consulting experience.
Anke's clients include Applied Materials, ChevronTexaco, Corning, Decise, Samsung, Smart & Final, Sun Microsystems and ZiLOG.
Before starting her own consulting venture, Anke worked for Towers Perrin for four years as a Senior Management Consultant in the People Performance Solutions practice, championing the application of quantitative consulting tools in Human Resources. Prior to working as an external consultant at Towers Perrin, Anke worked for five years with Bertelsmann AG, Europe's largest media conglomerate, in various Human Resources staff and management positions.
She holds an MA as well as a BA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Technische Hochschule Darmstadt, Germany. She received her MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
